Freeman Foundation Objectives

  • To provide the opportunity for children in foster care to engage in age or developmentally appropriate extracurricular activities, enrichment, cultural, life skills and social activities.

  • To employ foster youth and young adults to assist with life skills preparation. 

  • To provide training and education for volunteers that assist with life skills events.

  • To assist youth aging out of foster care with items needed as they transition.

  • Assist young adults aging out of foster care with housing/housing assistance. 

Cooking Skills

Assisting Foster Youth and young adults with obtaining cooking skills, budgeting, meal preparation, and couponing skills.

Cleaning Skills

Assisting Foster youth and young adults with obtaining home cleaning skills, organization skills, and laundry skills.

Money Management

Assisting Foster Youth and Young Adult with obtaining knowledge concerning finances, spending, budgeting, saving, and learning the difference between wants and needs.
